DIRECTOR DIRECTOR NALLE SJÖBLAD NALLE SJÖBLAD Nalle was born in 1982 and baptised Björn-Axel Rafael Sjöblad.When Nalle was a 5-year-old boy his grandfather'’s lawnmower broke down. Sitting on the wooden floor of the summer cottage he overheard his grandfather talking on the phone; “I really think we need to change the axel”, in fear of being traded, Nalle ran away from home until, two hours later, hunger overcame reason. Some sources claim that there was crying involved but this is widely disputed. Other childhood highlights include; running wild with a bee trapped in his diapers, smearing sun block cream on all of his toys to protect them from the sun, believing that all the newborns at the maternity clinic are his brothers, believing that his brothers baptising ceremony was some sort of torture, due to all the crying involved, and consequently disrupting the whole thing by violently yelling; “ brother, brother, hit the priest”. At the age of 11 Nalle made his first film by editing together some old betacam archive footage at his father'’s office. The film had 3 shots put together; a car on the highway, a space rocket launch, a car crash, a car on the highway, a space rocket launch, and so on….Later that year Nalle got his first camera and suddenly all his relatives and friends became actors.
